Strassburg Sock
The Strassburg sock is a simple and comfortable night or resting splint, which works on the principle of long-term low yield stress on the tendon membrane of the foot pier and the Achilles tendon. The pain is caused by a sterile inflammatory response in the tendon material. The use of the Strassburg sock is recommended for an elongation of at least 6 hours successively.
The wearing period of Strassburg sock is about 2 months. A highly effective product, for this price, when symptoms persist. The Strassburg sock is composed of a lower leg sock with D-ring and a stretch band. Combination with a wedge heel is recommended for optimal results.
Check with your doctor or therapist for an advice. In addition to the therapeutic action of the Strassburg sock, a combination with a wedge heel during daytime (with soft spot for heel pain and no soft spot for Achilles complaint) works well.
